The Iowa FAIR Plan Association does not contract with producers. No agency relationship is established and producers have no binding authority. The only requirement to be a producer for the Iowa FAIR Plan Association is to hold a property & casualty license issued by the Iowa Insurance Division.
It is required that an IRS Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification be on file prior to the distribution of commission. Click here for a copy of the current W-9 Form.
